Windows will warn you about this file. It says the publisher is unknown and asks whether to run it anyway. That is because the installer is not signed with a paid certificate — not because anything is wrong with it. Click More info, then Run anyway.
The game updates itself after this. You only need this page once.

There is no Mac or Linux installer yet. The FAQ says why.
After it installs
- Open Oknoda. It checks for an update before the login screen, never during play.
- Register a username and password, then make a character — an account holds six.
- You start in the city at the centre of the world, and so does everyone else.
